Who are we?
Anka Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery is a private clinic in Istanbul founded by two female plastic surgeons, Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş and Assoc. Prof. Ani Çinpolat.
Both surgeons are certified by the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). They have actively served as members of the multidisciplinary team that successfully performed Turkey’s first face, arm, and uterus transplantations. In addition, both surgeons have completed a master’s degree in stem cell and tissue engineering.

The Legend of Anka: The Journey Within
It is told that Anka, the sovereign of the birds and the source of all wisdom and beauty, lived among the branches of the Tree of Knowledge. Although the other birds had never seen Anka, they believed in its existence with all their hearts. They waited for Anka to save them, to heal them, and to guide them.One day, all the birds gathered and decided to fly to Anka’s presence to seek help. However, Anka’s nest was at the very peak of Mount Qaf, far above the clouds.To reach this legendary summit, they had to cross seven formidable valleys, each testing their soul: the valleys of Will, Love, Knowledge, Independence, Unity, Wonderment, and Poverty.As the journey grew harder, many birds gave up, exhausted by the trials. By the time they finally reached the peak of Mount Qaf, only thirty birds remained. When they entered the nest, they discovered the secret they had been searching for. In Persian, "Simurg" (Anka) literally means "Thirty Birds" (Si-murg).They realized that they were the Anka they had been waiting for. The source of all wisdom and beauty was not some distant savior; it was their own reflection. Each of them was an Anka, and the Anka was all of them.
