Anka Plastic Surgery is a private plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, founded by Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat and Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş. Both are EBOPRAS-certified specialists with a background in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery.

Two Surgeons, One Team
Anka was founded by two plastic surgeons who trained and worked together for many years.
Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat focuses on breast surgery, body contouring, reconstructive surgery, scar treatment and regenerative medicine.
Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş focuses on rhinoplasty, facial aesthetic surgery, eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation.
Both are EBOPRAS-certified specialists in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with extensive experience in microsurgery and advanced tissue reconstruction. Both were members of multidisciplinary teams involved in Turkey’s first face and upper-extremity transplantations and in pioneering uterus transplantation work.
Each surgeon leads in her own area. Assoc. Prof. Çinpolat generally leads breast surgery, tummy tuck and body-contouring operations, with Assoc. Prof. Bektaş joining the team. Assoc. Prof. Bektaş generally leads rhinoplasty and facial procedures, with Assoc. Prof. Çinpolat working alongside her. In the same operation, you benefit from the experience of two surgeons.
Plastic surgery training is built on reconstruction: tissue transfer, blood supply, wound healing and complex planning. We carry the same principles into aesthetic surgery, which means respecting circulation, preserving anatomy and planning for long-term healing, not only changing shape.

What We Do
Where a treatment takes place depends on how complex it is and what anaesthesia it needs. Consultations, non-surgical treatments and selected procedures under local anaesthesia are performed at our clinic. Operations that need general anaesthesia are performed in a hospital.
- Breast Surgery. Breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction and gynaecomastia. Whether an implant is needed at all is decided individually, and where the anatomy allows, we prefer to use your own breast tissue. Learn more →

Scar Treatment and Regenerative Medicine
Scars are not only changes on the skin surface. Their appearance depends on how deep the wound was, its blood supply, inflammation, collagen organisation and how each person heals. We therefore plan scar treatment around the biology of the scar, not a single standard method.
Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat has a particular interest in scar treatment. Both of our surgeons hold a master’s degree in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering, and she continues academic work in this field at PhD level.
Depending on the scar, options may include surgical scar revision, fat transfer, PRP, exosome-based applications and, in selected patients, stem-cell-based treatments. These are not used routinely. Each is considered according to the scientific evidence, the tissue and the aim of treatment. Scars can often be improved, but they cannot be erased, and we explain what is realistic before you decide.

Your Journey as an International Patient
We plan the whole journey with you, so you know what will happen before you travel.
- Online assessment. Send photographs and relevant medical information by WhatsApp or email. Our surgeons review them and discuss the likely options.
- Plan and written quotation. You receive a personal plan and a quotation that states what is included.
- Arrival. A private transfer meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.
- Examination and consultation. You have your preoperative tests at the hospital and meet your surgeon in person at our clinic in Nişantaşı. The final plan is confirmed after this examination.
- Surgery. Operations that need general anaesthesia take place at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital, with one night in hospital. Some patients choose Memorial Şişli Hospital, which we can arrange on request.
- Recovery in Istanbul. Most patients stay about seven nights in total. Transfers between the hotel, hospital and clinic are arranged for you, and your postoperative checks take place during this time.
- After you return home. We follow your recovery online, through photographs and messages, for up to one year after surgery.

The contents of your package are confirmed in your written quotation. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling. We can also give them in euros or US dollars on request.
Safety and Follow-Up
- The same surgeons throughout. Your operation is planned and performed by our surgeons, who also see you for your follow-up.
- A fully equipped hospital. Operations that need general anaesthesia are performed at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital.
- Insurance. Medical travel insurance (€20, charged separately) is arranged for international patients through an insurer that works with our partner hospital. It is intended to cover revision surgery needed within the first 6 months, subject to the terms of the policy.
- If a complication needs treatment. Our surgeons do not charge an additional surgeon’s fee. Costs not covered by the insurance remain the patient’s responsibility.
- Follow-up. You are checked in Istanbul before you leave, and we follow your recovery online for up to one year.
- Honest limits. No surgeon can guarantee a result. We explain the risks of each operation before you decide, and where a simpler treatment is enough, we say so.
Our Approach
We do not apply the same aesthetic model to every patient. Age, tissue quality, facial structure, body proportions, previous surgery and expectations all differ, so planning has to be individual. Our aim is results that are balanced, anatomically appropriate and sustainable over time, not to erase a person’s natural character.

Procedures that need general anaesthesia or a full operating theatre are performed at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital. Some patients choose Memorial Şişli Hospital, and we can arrange this on request. Consultations and non-surgical treatments take place at our clinic in Nişantaşı.
Can I have an assessment before travelling to Turkey?
Yes. In many cases the first assessment begins before you travel. You can send photographs and relevant medical information by WhatsApp or email, and an online consultation can be arranged when appropriate. The final surgical plan is confirmed after a physical examination and the necessary medical assessment in Istanbul.
Are hotel accommodation and airport transfers available for international patients?

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?
